Q Do you sell left hand drive cars?
A No, sorry. All cars made in Japan are right hand drive. ( Unless European and American made models that are right hand drive).


Q Up to how many vehicle orders do you accept?
A We accept orders from a single vehicle to as many as the client is willing to purchase. We ship vehicle(s) as single freight cargo or in 20-feet/40-feet containers.

Q Do the prices for the cars in your site list include shipping cost?
A No. All vehicle prices do not include shipping cost. Shipping cost or freight charges will be determined by the shipping agent depending on the destination port of the vehicle.
Q How long will it take to find the car I ordered?
A

It usually takes about a week or two depending on your specifications.


Q How long will it take for the vehicle to reach my country after finishing my balance payment?
A

Here is a general time frame you can follow:

From Japan to Caribbean : about 6 weeks
From Japan to Europe : about 5 weeks
From Japan to Africa : about 6 weeks
from Japan to South Pacific : about 6 weeks
From Japan to America/Canada : about 4 weeks

 
Q How can I know whether I can import 1995 model cars into my country from Japan?
A

It is best to check with the import authorities in your country or your clearing agent for direct up-to-date information. Some websites can give information on these issues, but there can be possibilities of outdated materials.

 
Q How can I know the grade of the car I intend to purchasing?
A All vehicles on sale at KCC Autos, are graded according to their quality. The grade explanation are as follows:

    		 New vehicle, or almost new condition
    There are no scratches or dents

    5

    		 Excellent condition
    There could be very few slight scratches or very small dents. The engine is in excellent condition too.
    4.5
    		 Close to excellent condition
    There could be very some slight scratches or very small dents. The engine works very well.
    4
    		 Very good condition
    There could be some minor scratches or small dents. The interior of the vehicle may need some cleaning too. Engine works very well.
    3
    		 Good condition
    There could be some scratches and dents. The interior of the vehicle may need some cleaning. The engine works well but would need some check-ups like oil check, battery check etc.
    2
    		 Rough condition
    There could be some noticeable scratches and dents on the exterior. The interior would need a thorough cleaning too. The engine will also require thorough cleaning or some repairing.
    1
    		 Damaged condition
    These are vehicles that are damaged and will need repairing to both exterior and interior.

 Do you provide warranty or insurance for the car I will buy?
A

We do ship cars on CIF basis that covers:

  • The cost of the vehicle if the vessel is destroyed by natural disaster during transit.

 
Q How can I fax you? What is your country's international code number?
A 81-6-6681-8849 is our Fax number. When Faxing from outside Japan, first dial the international access code (Example, 011 for the United States), then Japan country code number (81), then the area code of Osaka city (6) then KCC Autos Fax number 6681-8849.
Q Do I pay shipping cost to KCC Autos or to the Shipping Agent?
A We strongly advise you to do shipping payment through KCC Autos together with the remaining payment for the vehicle. Since we will be dealing directly with the shipping agent to process the shipping documents, it makes things easier and smooth to receive your shipping payments and be able to pay the shipping agent immediately when they issue a proforma invoice for shipping the vehicle. This will avoid time delay in the shipping process.

Q Do you export car spare parts also?
A Yes we do for some models. you can send an email specifying the vehicle maker, model, year, and other details of the spare-parts you intend to purchase. Depending on the vehicle, we can reply you same day or within 2 - 3 working days.
Note: For spare parts, full Payments has to be made before shipping.


Q Do you export Bikes too?
A Bikes are not actually our field but we can contact local dealer if you need a quote. Please send an email specifying the maker, model, year, and other details. We can get you a qoute within a few days.


Q Do you ship vehicles in containers?
A Yes we do. Depending on the number of vehicles purchased, we can ship them to your desired port in 20 or 40 feet containers. The number of vehicles that can fit in one container depends on the sizes of the vehicles to be loaded.

Q Can you explain the details of the Total Price or Total Cost of a vehicle?
A

The Total Vehicle Price we will email you consists of the following:

1. Cost or Price of vehicle
2. Shipping Cost (CIF)
3. KCC Autos Commission: 10% of vehicle cost

The invoice you will receive from KCC Autos for your order will consists a total of the following:
Vehicle Price + KCC Autos Commission + Shipping Cost

Q What is your system of payment?
A If you are abroad, we accept payments through Bank or Wire Transfer. Or Paypal.
If you are in Japan, we accept payment by Bank or Wire Transfer, Paypal or Cash. To pay in cash please call our office during business hours and set up an appointment with the sales personnel. The address, telephone number and map can be found in the Contact Page.
All payments are in Japanese Yen or US Dollars only. We do Not accept payments by Letter of Credit (L/C), Checks, or Money Order.
Q At what time should I do the first deposit, and when should I do the final payment ?
A After we receive your inquiry or order for a car, we will send you an Invoice containing the Total price of the vehicle. (Total price = Vehicle Price + KCC Autos Commission + Shipping Cost ) If you agree to the total price, you can go ahead and complete your first deposit imediately.
The final remaining payment should be paid immediately after we won the bid for your vehicle at the auctions. After we won an aution bid, the vehicle is held at the auction venue until we complete full payment for the car. At this point we will inform you of the winning bid and email or Fax you the results from the Auction venue as proof (Pictures of the vehicle will also be email to you). You will then complete the rest of the payment for the vehicle uncluding the shipping cost within 3 working days.
Q How can I do payments?

After we've won an aution bid, the vehicle is held at the auction venue until we complete full payment for the car which they demand within 5 business days. You will then complete the the final payment for the vehicle uncluding the shipping cost to us witin in 3 busines days.


Q How much do I need to pay in total to purchase a car from KCC Autos?
A Basically a vehicle cost will consists a total of the following:
Vehicle Price + KCC Autos 10% Commission + Shipping Cost (CIF)
Q How can I know my country's currency rate to the US Dollar or Japanese yen?
A You can either ask your local bank nearest to you for an accurate exchange rate or you can check the currency exchange site to get an approximate rate calculation.
Q Is there any extra cost involved after finishing final payment to KCC Autos?
A

There is no extra cost involve for you to pay. However, do not forget you will have to pay custom duties and taxes when the vehicle arrive at your destination port.

If your country is not listed on the list, email us at info@kcc-autos.com and inform us about the car model and destination country and port, we will be able to send you some information about the shipping cost to your country. Or browse through our shipping cost page.
Q How can I know about my country's import regulations?
A The best way is to directly contact your country's custom authorities or check any local clearing agent around your area.
